The first advantage of the ponds built here was that both the boreholes on opposite sides of the campus were charged and soil erosion has also stopped. Three plants have been planted here in one square meter, usually there is one plant in two square meters in the forest. A shed is being built on both these ponds for poultry farming. The feed of the chickens here will serve as food for the fishes in the pond, which means fish farming will also take place along with it.
better environment
This model of converting barren land into forest will improve the environment of the entire region. In the last decade and a half, due to large-scale construction around the Kaliasot river, there is a lot of damage to the natural environment. Valmi is developing such a model that the ecological system created will improve the environment.
Japan-Israel model adopted
Institute’s director Urmila Shukla says that this biological model is useful for those factories and government institutions, where a lot of land is lying idle. He told that in Japan’s Miyawaki model, intensive forest is developed in barren land according to the local conditions there, but vermicompost, Jeevamrit and Ghanamrit are not used in it. Similarly, in Israel with less rainfall, more crops are taken by stopping rain water. This technique has been developed by combining these two models. There will be an income of about 4.50 lakh rupees every year from farming on this.
