Millet :
1. Sowing of Bajra can be done for the whole month after 15th July.
2. 4-5 kg of seed is required per hectare for sowing.
3. The main varieties of millet are Pusa 322, Pusa-23.
Arhar :
1. Sow improved varieties of pigeon pea and Pusa 2002, Pusa 2001, Pusa 992, Pusa 991.
2. Keep the seed rate for Arhar at 10-15 kg./ha.
3. The duration of all the above varieties is 140-145 days which is suitable for two green cropping cycles.
Fruit crops :
1. Mangoes of Amrapali, Mallika, Dussehri, Pusasurya, Pusa Arunima are ready for harvesting. Keep the fruits in Ethrel solution (1.8 ml per liter of lukewarm water) for 5 minutes to ripen evenly.
2. To control fruit fly in mango, guava and papaya, use Imidacloprid (3 ml. in 10 liters of water) and methyl eugenol pheromone trap.
3. To prevent root rot and Phytophthora disease in citrus fruits, spray Ridomil (2.5 g/l water) and Alite (60-120 g/l water) in the roots of the plants.
