    According to the information, the cultivation of Chamomile is being successfully used by the Forest Department in the district under the guidance of Divisional Forest Officer Jitendra Upadhyay and under the direction of Deputy Forest Officer SK Gupta. According to officials, chamomile is a very popular and commercially superior quality oil plant. This plant is used to make many types of products. This plant is used as a flavor enhancer in herbal teas, pharma products, perfumes, beverages and bakery products. If seen, small farmers will also get good profit from its cultivation.

    Method of cultivation of chamomile

    For chamomile cultivation, first of all, plow your field twice with the help of a cultivator. Plow once straight and second time crosswise. Then plow the field with the help of rotavator, so that the soil pieces become fine and friable. After this, make a bed 3 feet wide and 1 feet high for sowing seeds. About 300 to 400 grams of seeds are needed in one acre of field. Keep in mind that 30 to 30 cm in plants. There should be a distance of 1 feet and a line distance of 1 feet.

    For good production of Chamomile, add about 500 kg to 1 ton vermicompost manure in one acre field and also add Boron fertilizer in it. After sowing the seeds, irrigate the field once in 10 to 20 days.

    Chamomile Harvest is done at least 60 to 70 days after planting in the month of February. The harvesting of this crop is completed before the summer season. Please tell that harvest the flowers only after 15 to 20 days of flowering and then dry the flowers in the shade for about 3 to 4 days.













    For your information, let us tell you that 2000-2500 kg of fresh flowers are produced per acre of this crop and 400 to 500 kg of dried flowers are produced per acre. Due to which farmers can earn more profit by selling it at a good price in the market.
