Harvesting

The developing buds begin to develop into flowers after the first two months. When the flowers are in full bloom, they are harvested. When the flowers are in full bloom, the flower stalk to the outer disc is cut from the flowers and washed in sodium hypochlorite solution for a few hours. It is then graded according to size, shade and then packed. The flowers are first packed in poly pouches and they are set in rows in cardboard boxes.
