Peas can be grown in a variety of containers. All they need is a cool or more temperate climate, nutritious soil rich in organic matter, and ample water and sunlight.

Green Pea plants can be harvested in 65 to 75 days. Depending on the variety you sow, always pluck peas from the bottom of the plant, harvesting pods carefully, being careful not to break the stem.
Pick up the pods of peas with your hands, hold the vine with one hand and pull the pods with the other hand. Snow peas take longer to harvest than sweet peas or garden peas.
