Prabhakar Bhakuni, a farmer of Hadauli village in Almora district of Uttarakhand, has been doing the work of lilium flower cultivation for the last several years. He says that the price of one lilium flower in the market is around Rs 40 to 50. Even if the farmer himself sells his produce by contacting the flower traders, he can get a very good income. He also says that lilium cultivation can prove to be an excellent source of income for the unemployed. Significantly, today the cultivation of flowers is increasing day by day all over the world, in such a way farmers can get good income by cultivating flowers.
