According to the scientists of BAU, these newly prepared plants will not get spoiled even after getting water. This means that if a mango tree is submerged in water for a long time, or if there is too much water in it, it will neither dry nor spoil. Generally, it is found that if plants or trees remain in water for a long time, then they either get rotten or get affected by some kind of pests and diseases. At the same time, this is not the case with these new mango plants. It took almost two years to prepare them.
Boon for flood affected areas
Due to this new contribution of Bihar Agricultural University, the mango crop of the farmers will not be wasted due to water. Where there is a problem of flood, farmers or gardeners can save their loss by planting these special plants and can take full profit. Even if 75 percent of the plant remains submerged in water, it will still be safe. According to experts, the trees prepared from these plants can survive from any kind of damage even after being in water for a month.

According to the reports, the scientists of BAU have completed this research. Now soon preparations will be made to make such plants available to the farmers and gardeners. The special thing is that along with Bhagalpur and Kosi, gardeners can plant it in the rest of the country as well, especially farmers and gardeners cultivating in flood-affected areas can take advantage of it.
