Bihar Agricultural University has prepared some such mango plants which can prove to be a boon for the farmers, especially for the gardeners of the flood affected areas.

According to the scientists of BAU, these newly prepared plants will not get spoiled even after getting water. This means that if a mango tree is submerged in water for a long time, or if there is too much water in it, it will neither dry nor spoil. Generally, it is found that if plants or trees remain in water for a long time, then they either get rotten or get affected by some kind of pests and diseases. At the same time, this is not the case with these new mango plants. It took almost two years to prepare them.
