    Whitefly – This insect is very small in size but causes a lot of damage in vegetables like tomato, chilli, okra. Because it spreads marodia disease in these crops. This insect is white winged whose body is yellow. The nymphs and adults of this pest stay on the lower surface of the leaves and suck the sap, due to which the leaves turn yellow. Due to the attack of this pest, the plants remain small, the leaves get twisted and the fruits are less, the outbreak of this pest is more in the rainy season.

    Chepa – These insects are like green louse. Its infants and adults harm the crop by sucking the juice from the lower surface of the leaves. Due to their effect the leaves get twisted from the edges. The winged species of this insect also spread viral diseases. These insects secrete sticky substances from their bodies, which causes black mold on the leaves, which affects the process of making food in plants.

    Prevention – 400 ml for the control of white fly and chepa. Malathion 50 EC Mixing it in 200-250 liters of water, spray it at an interval of 15 days at the rate of per acre.

    Fruit Borer – The adult of this insect is of medium size and yellowish brown in colour. The damage to the crop is caused by the bollworms. On the upper part of its body, there are three long cut gray colored, white stripes on both sides. In the beginning, these caterpillars eat leaves, soft stems and flowers and make holes in flowers and fruits. Affected fruits later rot and due to holes in the fruits, the quality deteriorates and the price is less in the market.

    Prevention – Male adults of this pest should be collected and destroyed by placing pheromone traps. One row of marigold should be planted after 15-20 rows of tomato, because this pest likes to lay eggs on marigold.

    75 ml in case of pest attack. Fanvalerate 20 EC or 200ml Deltamethrin 2.8 EC or 60 ml Cypermethrin 25 EC or 150ml Cypermethrin 10 EC Mix it in 200-250 liters of water and spray at an interval of 15-15 days and pluck the edible fruits before spraying.

    Leave 20,000 Trichogramma chilonis parasites as soon as the eggs of this pest appear on the leaves in the month of March and after four days again leave 20,000 parasites per acre on the crop. After this spray 1 liter of Nimbicidin, 400 grams of Bacillus thuringiensis (B.T.) 400 grams in 200 liters of water at an interval of 10-10 days.
