    Wash the beans. If you are sprouting beans at home for the first time, mung beans, chickpeas, and alfalfa are the safest choices for beans. Wash the beans thoroughly before starting the process as this will remove the dirt present in the beans. Also remove all damaged seeds during this process.













    Choose the right jar- For sprouting beans, take a wide mouthed jar. Use only after carefully washing the jar with soap. Prepare sprouting lids for your jars from polyester window screen. You can also buy jars specially made for germination purposes from the market.

    Planting the Seeds- Once you have your jar and lid ready, add two tablespoons of bean seeds and fill the jar halfway with cold water. Let the seeds soak overnight. Make sure that air remains around the jar. Tell that beans should be soaked at room temperature.

    Storing Sprouts- Once the seeds have sprouted into your preferred shape, give them a final wash before storing them in the fridge.
